Iron Creek Community Church
Our little church has celebrated 155 years of service! The Little White Church on the corner started in the year 1855. A small group of believers gathered together at the Iron Creek school building. They met there for 14 years before in 1867 a revival broke out. A gift of $500 was given to start a building fund.
Our Little Country Church was built a year later in 1868.
The church had electricity installed in Aug of 1938.
In 1946 a need for more room became a problem for the small church. There was a need for Sunday school class rooms. So, in May of 1946 the basement was dug out. They dug it out mainly with pix and shovels! At that time the machinery wasn't available.
Our little corner in the country for Christ has seen many people come and go since 1855. It has stood through wars and many changes, but by God's grace He has seen us through.
We are proud to be a part of history in our little White Country Church.
We would love to see your smiling face Sunday morning! Please feel free to come, and be part of our service. We would love to have you!!
